SAFETY SERVICES - SSMU

McGILL STUDENT'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (MSERT): be part of a team of Emergency First Responder covering residences, intramural hockey, gerts, frosh, carnival 4 floors

SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER of the McGILL STUDENT'S SOCIETY (SACOMSS): Find out about the services provided, hotline and volunteer opportunity.​​​

PEER SUPPORT CENTRE: Talk to peers about anything! It is confidential and non judgemental. You may also find a list of hotlinesnes list

HEALTHY MCGILL: Learn about eating well, being active, relaxing, partying safe and safe sex. Get involved!

McGILL MENTAL HEALTH HUB: It connects our community to support and share information surrounding mental well-being. It is a centralized resource for mental health.

CAREER PLANNING SERVICES: Explore careers, find a job after you gradute, find student jobs for the summer, look into mentor programs. Note that PTOT has a career fair exclusive to our students organized in collaboration with CAPS.​

SSMU WALKSAFE: It is a volunteer SSMU service that provides free night-time accompaniment for those who are feel uncomfortable, or who are unable to walk home alone. Our service is available to anyone in Montreal.

SSMU DRIVESAFE: Our patrols drive students home safely to and from anywhere on the Island of Montreal for free.

McGILL NIGHTLINE: It is a referral service for any service around campus. It is also provides active listening on any topic. The volunteers are trained in crisis managemtn. You can talk about anything!​​​​​

CAMPUS LIFE & ENGAGEMENT: Services include orientation & transition for graduates, campus involvement, peer program network, leadership development, off-campus & commuter student support, student communications

FIRST PEOPLE'S HOUSE: â€‹Find resources for current and prospective students. Learn about indigenous homecoming and events. You will also find acdemic support, scholarship and bursaries.​​

SCHOLARSHIP AND STUDENT AID:  Learn how to manage your money! Resources include governemnt aid, work study program, mcgill financial aid and entrance scholarships.​

OFFICE OF RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL LIFE: Learn more about volunteering, faith-based groups, religious support., zen practice on fridays, the multifaith team (all  listed groups) and places of worship
